The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 10 schools and five nurseries. A large, experienced, welcoming Maths Department would like to appoint a highly committed and enthusiastic Teacher to join the team in September 2024. At Samuel Whitbread Academy we are genuinely committed to ensuring that each student fulfils his or her potential. We place great emphasis on engagement, resilience and independent learning.
You will be joining a large welcoming Maths Department with supportive colleges. We would welcome new staff at all points in their career (including applicants looking for a part-time role) from ECT to SLE. You will find a hardworking, friendly and compassionate environment.
We have a strong record at A-Level with three to four A-Level Maths groups, a Further Maths class in both Years 12 and 13 as well as a Maths Studies class in Year 12. So there there is plenty of opportunity for KS5 teaching!

Applicants must be willing to undertake a DBS clearance and the Academy must receive two satisfactory references before the successful candidate can commence employment.
This role will involve working closely with the students at Samuel Whitbread Academy and you will be engaging in regulated activity with children.
