Teacher of Maths job summary
Biddenham International School is a thriving, inclusive, multi-cultural, 11-19 school of 1200 students which is rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in March 2019. The school has a student centred focus and chromebooks are used by all students to support daily learning.

To start January 2020 or earlier, if possible, we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and engaging Teacher of Maths. We offer a creative Key Stage 3 Maths curriculum, as part of our unique connected curriculum. We deliver GCSE Maths across years, 9, 10 and 11, with results improving yearly. We have good numbers moving from Year 11 into Post 16 Maths, where we deliver a high quality programme of teaching.
Within the department we have the potential to fully support Newly Qualified Teachers beginning their teaching career. Additionally, we have the flexibility to offer a more experienced teacher A-level teaching in Maths, Level 3 Core Maths and Further Maths, if desired. There is scope for the right candidate to progress and assume additional responsibilities within the school or department.

Teachers of other subjects will be considered, alongside a commitment to retrain to specialise in Maths. Visits to the school are most welcome.
