What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

• Have the resolve to make a real difference in the lives of students

• Be an excellent classroom teacher and a collaborative team member

• Ideally have a proven track record of strong student outcomes (not essential for early career teachers)

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that support students to achieve their full potential• Be committed to the academy’s ethos of high expectations

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the academy

Essential:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Ability to teach effectively across KS3 and KS4
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

Desirable:

  • Ability to teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-Level
  • Experience contributing to curriculum development
  • Ability to use assessment and data effectively to support progress
