We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for Maths to join a supportive and motivated team of 10 dedicated, experienced colleagues who ensure that this area of school is vibrant and inclusive.
There are lots of opportunities within the department to lead on specific elements of our curriculum delivery, if this is something you’d like to do.
Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals. Full-time or part-time (min 0.8) will be considered.
The academy is incredibly fortunate to work alongside the Freeston Foundation, and hosts a variety of external workshops, roadshows, competitions and opportunities each year.
These have included Magic Maths workshops, university STEM opportunities, a visiting Maths poet, links with Art and local galleries, and national competitions. We have in-house tutor competitions for Numeracy each week, a Maths Masters enrichment programme, UKMT opportunities and much more.
