Teacher of Maths

Franklin College is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Teacher of Maths to join our forward-thinking and successful Mathematics department. This post offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about developing confident mathematicians and supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes in a subject that lies at the heart of the curriculum.

Maths is a well-established and thriving area within the College, with strong results and high levels of student engagement across A Level and GCSE resit provision. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons, use innovative teaching strategies, and help students build both the skills and resilience needed for further study, apprenticeships, and employment.

The ideal candidate will be well qualified with a degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline, and will demonstrate a commitment to high standards in teaching and learning. You should have the ability to challenge students of all abilities, analyse performance data effectively, and contribute to the continual improvement of departmental practice. An enthusiasm for collaborative planning and the willingness to support Maths enrichment activities will also be important.
