What skills and experience we're looking for
Lady Lumley’s Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join our academy as soon as possible, on a full time permanent basis.
• A good degree in an appropriate discipline related to Maths andteaching qualification together with Qualified Teacher Status
- A strong and secure subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE
- Recent and relevant teaching experience and experience of assessment at key stage 3 and 4
- Awareness of the strategies available for improving the learning and achievement of all students and agood understanding of curriculum developments in Maths
- Able to use a range of teaching and learning strategies and an understanding of how assessment for learning can improve student performance
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team and willingness to share good practice across the department and beyond
