Would you thrive when working with other committed and innovative members of staff? If so, Leigh Academy Halley is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join in September 2026. The successful candidate will provide support both inside and outside of the classroom to develop students to become independent thinkers and learners.
This is a permanent opportunity that offers a competitive MPS + Inner London salary, commensurate with experience. This role would also be suitable for ECTs, and we also welcome applications from prospective colleagues who would wish to workpart-time, as well asfull-time.
Key responsibilities, as outlined in the job description, include;

- Promote good progress and outcomes for students.
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
