Teacher of Maths (Maternity Cover) job summary
Position: Teacher of Maths (Maternity Cover)
Location: On site, Westbury-on-Trym BS9 3BA
Hours: This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave (approximately 0.94 to 1.0 FTE)
The closing date for this position will be Tuesday 10th March at 8:00am

We are currently looking for a dynamic and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join our teaching staff on a maternity cover basis.
Main Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the teaching of Maths as set out in the timetable
• Prepare lessons taking account of the pupils’ abilities within each teaching group/set
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of pupils with special needs and facilitate their work accordingly
• Set and mark work regularly for all pupils, in accordance with departmental guidelines
To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following:
• Teaching experience within the advertised subject
• Applicants must have the appropriate qualifications which for teaching posts means a good degree in the relevant subject
• Experience of working with young people
• Applicants will be personable, have a smart appearance and good social skills
