Your role:
You’ll love this job if you have proven expertise and a passion for maths. As a teacher of maths at Thomas Deacon Academy, you will teach key stages 3, 4 and 5. Your lessons will fuel our students’ curiosity, and you will be committed to having high expectations of all students. Your confidence will inspire them to embrace challenges and have the courage to tackle complex problems fearlessly. You will show compassion by contributing to the wider life of the school and its community. This is a fixed term contract for one year.

We are a vibrant and successful secondary school in Peterborough, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. Our courteous and supportive Maths and IT department consists of 22 teachers who are experienced educators that foster a culture of continuous learning. We encourage collaboration between colleagues to explore new mathematical concepts and develop innovative teaching methods.
