TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS - FULL TIME
PERMANENT FROM 1st SEPTEMBER 2020
The Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to deliver high quality lessons from September 2020. If you are an excellent classroom practitioner, who is flexible, dedicated and passionate about delivering exceptional learning experiences, then we want to hear from you.
This is an exciting time to be joining our Academy as we seek an additional teacher to meet rapidly increasing student numbers. September will see the completion of a new purpose-built, state of the art, two-storey maths accommodation at the Waterleat Road campus, to house additional students. Two other recent capital projects costing in excess of £4 million pounds have just been completed. The Academy has undergone a superb transformation in September 2019 to facilitate students in years 7 to 11 across two sites.
The successful candidate should have Qualified Teacher status and have an up-to-date knowledge of developments in Mathematics. The post would equally suit a Newly Qualified Teacher or experienced teacher.
The Academy is situated in Torbay and is part of the beautiful English Riviera. It is within easy reach of stunning beaches with golden sands, rolling countryside and Dartmoor. It is also only a short drive away, via the new South Devon link road, from the historic city of Exeter and its surrounding areas.
The Academy provides high quality professional development opportunities at all stages of teacher development. These range from our extensive NQT programme through to leadership progression opportunities within Paignton and across the Trust.
