Teacher of Maths job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to teach in one of the highest achieving schools in Bristol teaching mathematics across all year groups. We provide strong pastoral support and monitoring but also encourage independence in learning and study habits. Redland Green School is a very special place to work and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our experienced team.

The Mathematics department at Redland Green School currently consists of 11 members of staff. Students in Key Stages 3 and 4 are set according to mathematical ability and we teach in half-year or full-year groups. As part of the North Bristol Post-16 centre, Redland Green currently teach 10 ‘A’ level groups including a large and thriving further mathematics classes. Lessons are planned and delivered using a wide variety of teaching and learning styles, in particular making good use of ICT. The department’s schemes of work are planned in a highly collaborative way and make good use of resources such as Geogebra and Desmos.
