What skills and experience we're looking for
Mount St Joseph are currently seeking a Teacher of Maths (0.6 FTE) and Science (0.4 FTE). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
Mount St. Joseph is a Roman Catholic voluntary aided 11-16 comprehensive school under the trusteeship of the Salford Diocese. The school is part of the St Teresa of Calcutta Trust. The school's Instrument of Government affirms its identity as part of the Catholic Church and its commitment to operation in accordance with Canon Law, the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Trust Deed of the Diocese of Salford.

This position is suitable for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT).
Purpose of the role:
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic teaching professional who can work as part of our dedicated and exceptional team. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to meet the Teachers’ Standards. All classroom teachers will contribute to the curriculum and year teams in supporting the school’s mission statement and achieving its aims. As a professional within a Catholic School, you will be expected to enhance the life of the school by delivering and developing high quality teaching and learning, contributing to the work of the teams of teaching and support staff, being reflective about your own practice and effectiveness: sharing with, and learning from the work of others, and constantly seeking ways to improve through innovation and research.
