What skills and experience we're looking for
Our outstanding school is currently seeking a Maths teacher to join our high performing Maths team. The Maths team are expert teachers in their field, super collaborative and over time have achieved some of the best results nationally. We are in a unique position in that due to our current staffing and flexibility within our maths department, the position we are recruiting to will suit a range of candidates, from Early Career Teachers, to established teachers looking to take on some leadership responsibility in the form of a Second in Department role.Whilst the role is advertised as full time, there may be some opportunity for colleagues wishing to work on a part time basis.
About you
You will teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4 and as our ideal candidate, it goes without saying you will meet the expectations set out in the Teachers Standards or have the potential to do so as an Early Career Teacher. Most importantly, you will have a proven track record of inspiring learners to excel in mathematics. You should be able to make complex mathematical concepts accessible to learners of all ages and abilities, and you should have a talent for delivering engaging lessons that challenge and motivate your learners.Supporting and encouraging your colleagues in their career development by sharing your experience and knowledge and the strategies you have used successfully to enable learners to unlock their potential. Finally, we place great value on the importance of building effective relationships, therefore you should be able to demonstrate how you do so with learners, parents, and colleagues.
