What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Maths who is innovative and inspiring with the ability to teach a curriculum that is authentic, connected to our community and engages our students. This is an exciting role for a highly motivated person who has a confident understanding of the Maths curriculum, is passionate about their subject and will inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for Mathematics.
The successful candidate will be someone who is committed to contributing to the continued delivery and development of the Trust’s aims and are expected to embody the values, vision and ethos of Severn Academies Educational Trust, as well as being someone who will be dedicated to working in partnership with other schools and colleagues across the wider Trust. Colleagues should be flexible in working across our secondary provision at Baxter College or Stourport High School.
We are looking for a teacher who has:
A shared commitment to our values and to forming positive working relationships with our community
Experience of excellent and inspirational teaching from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 5
Commitment to their own professional development and a culture of open professional dialogue
Passion for combating social disadvantage and generating social capital
Enthusiasm for innovation in curriculum and assessment.
