With bespoke assessment objectives scaled across KS3, teachers are encouraged to select adaptive material suitable to the learners in their classes and have flexibility in how they assess learning to ensure the best outcomes for their students.
Our department is very well resourced, but we are continuously adding new resources to our curriculum and are eager to develop the curriculum to meet the needs of teachers and learners alike. KS4 students study the Edexcel specification and we have a robust scheme of work for each year group.
Maths teachers are provided with road maps for individual year groups which could be shared with students and parents/carers to ensure we work collaboratively.
