A once in a career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort were welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. The school is growing each year with a new cohort of entry. We were pleased again this year that we were heavily oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. This September, we have 1080 students in years R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Our school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are seeking to appoint a Maths teacher. This post has arisen to initially cover a maternity absence, but as a growing school and expanding Maths department, we are able to offer a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be a strong practitioner. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks, and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead to develop their skills. They will believe passionately in the importance of education for all children, refusing to accept that disadvantage or SEND should limit ambition or potential.

The Beaulieu Park School has earned a reputation for excellent student behaviour. The successful applicant will enjoy working in an environment where they can really teach and develop their pedagogy.

This role will suit a person at any point in their career, excited by the prospect of a new and unique and special challenge. If you would like an informal conversation with the Principal (on the phone or virtually), please contact Mrs Baggott on 01245 943500 or email kbaggott@beaulieuparkschool.com

The closing date is 12 o’clock on Monday 3rd October 2022. Interviews will be held w/c 10th October 2022.
