Further details about the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, working alongside and learning from outstanding and experienced practitioners. Our primary language is Spanish. You would ideally be a dual linguist so we can develop our curriculum to two languages in the future.
The MFL results have shown an increasing trend since 2019 which is a result of the challenge, high expectations and commitment we have to fostering a love of languages and creating linguistic scholars. GCSE results in 2022 were above National Average at all 3 thresholds. 88% 4+, 74% 5+ and 43% 7+. If you have the skills and qualities to add to our high performing department, we would love to receive an application from you.
For practitioners who are looking to develop their career pastorally, there is the potential for a role as Assistant Head of Year position.
You can apply for EITHER role, please identify on your application if you are applying for solely teacher of MFL or would like to also be considered for Assistant Head of Year.
