Cottenham Village College is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join our thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner with recent and relevant experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across Years 7-11, catering to the full ability range.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging schemes of work and resources.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to raise achievement.
  • Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge in Spanish.
  • Experience teaching Spanish to KS4 is essential; ability to offer French at KS3 or KS4 is desirable.
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a supportive team.
  • A reflective practitioner keen to develop professionally.
