Do you have a passion for creativity and the ability to inspire our students? The Academy is growing at a rapid rate and we need high quality teachers to join our experienced team. We have an exciting opportunity to join us on our journey to becoming a great school for the community of Burgess Hill.  The Burgess Hill Academy is part of the University of Brighton Academies Trust.  We have gone from 5 forms of entry in 2016 to 9 forms of entry in 2021. We need someone to help us deliver our expanding languages provision.  
Languages plays an important part in our curriculum and we regularly achieve above average GCSE outcomes. We currently offer French and Spanish.  Candidates should be able to teach both languages to KS3 and either Spanish or French to KS4 (although the ability to teach both Spanish and French to KS4 would be desirable).

The Academy is situated in the heart of Burgess Hill on a pleasant 30 Acre site. It is a 5 minute walk from Burgess Hill mainline station with connections to the bustling sea side of Brighton (10 mins) and London (50mins to Victoria). The Town is in the heart of the beautiful South Downs and is a 20 minute drive to the Sea. Our greatest asset is our students. They are fantastic and have the potential to achieve amazing things.
