Teacher of MFL

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with the capacity to teach German and French to join our collegiate, friendly and well-resourced department.Student engagement inLanguages ishigh, with French and German popular subjects at GCSE,and the department are well supported by national and regional lead practitioners within Ormiston Academies Trust.

  • Relationships between staff and pupils are strong. 
  • Pupils behave well in lessons. There is an orderly atmosphere in school. Very little low-level disruption occurs in lessons. 
  • Pupils study a broad and ambitious curriculum. This includes a wide range of subjects from Years 7 to 11. Pupils are supported to do well by teachers, who have good subject knowledge. 

We want every student and member of staff to aspire to achieve excellence in all that they do. Our academy consistently performs above national averages in both attainment and progress at the end of Key Stage 4. This success is driven through our unwavering focus on high quality teaching and learning in every lesson, every day for every student. We fully prepare our students for life beyond the academy with a broad, rich, and cohesive curriculum that enables them to become well-rounded and responsible citizens, ready to pursue their future ambitions with passion and integrity.
