Jane Austen College has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and ambitious Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join the team. You will need to be an excellent teacher of MFL, with a commitment and passion for our vision of excellence and championing the best educational standards for all young people. You will be committed to the department’s vision that all children can learn a foreign language, as all Jane Austen students study at least one language to GCSE level.

Jane Austen College is an 11-19 secondary school in the heart of Norwich which opened in 2014. We are an English specialist school, with an additional post-16 specialism in humanities and the arts. We are also partnered with the Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form – the region’s first maths and science specialist sixth form. Our sixth form is one of the top performing in Norfolk and we have been rated by Ofsted as Outstanding in four out of five areas, with an overall rating of Good.
