King’s Academy Binfield is seeking to appoint a passionate, dynamic and innovative Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our ambitious academy community.

As part of our all-through academy, you will benefit from working within a unique educational environment spanning Nursery to Post-16, offering opportunities to understand and shape the full student journey. Our growing Sixth Form and expanding provision create exciting possibilities for developing Key Stage 5 language pathways and long-term career development.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire and motivate students to achieve their very best. The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for Modern Foreign Languages and a commitment to high-quality classroom practice that enables student progress.
  • Be able to teach Spanish and/or French, with the ability to contribute to curriculum development across the department.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage and challenge all learners, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
  • Thrive as a classroom practitioner and contribute meaningfully to the wider life and cultural capital of the academy through the promotion of languages and international understanding.
  • Be reflective and ambitious, taking ownership of their students' success and their own professional growth.
  • Have a clear vision for increasing student engagement, participation and achievement in Modern Foreign Languages.

Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 and we have grown year on year, with our first Year 11 students currently in the final year of their GCSE study. In addition to the secondary phase, we also have two primary phases set across two sites, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). In September 2023, we will have students from year N to year 6 in primary and year 7 through to year 12. Our 6th Form will be opening in September 2023.
