We are seeking a well-qualified individual to deliver high-quality lessons and excellent pastoral care across KS3-KS4. It is an exciting time to join St Edmund’s Catholic Academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding.
Our extremely popular school is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities.

OThe successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established and high performing team and will:
Teach French at KS3 & KS4.
Have experience of working with the Edexcel exam board is advantageous as the academy teaches the Edexcel Specification from 2024 for the New GCSE Specification for French.
Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school including the annual programme of Liturgical events, weekly enrichment activities and annual showcase events within the academy.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
