Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages - Full time (part time considered), permanent.
Salary scale: NQT – UPS3 (pay award pending)

You will be required to teach French to GCSE level, with German and/or Spanish as a desirable second language.

St Francis Xavier is a joint RC/CE 11-16 Mixed Comprehensive serving the picturesque market town of Richmond and the surrounding rural area. • Evidence of successful experience/teaching practice as a classroom teacher of MFL
• To have knowledge of and confidence in the use of pupil performance data
• To have a good understanding of MFL, both its teaching and assessment.
• Understanding of strategies to raise achievement across Key Stages
• To have a good knowledge of current educational issues and initiatives.
• Ability to make lessons active, lively and focussed on pupil needs
