What skills and experience we're looking for
We know that exceptional Music & Dramapractitionersare in high demand which is why we are offering arecruitment and retention bonusof£2,000for the right candidate(£1,000 payable upon joining, and £1,000 payable after 1 year's service).
We are delighted to have the opportunity to take on a newTeacher Music and Dramawho loves their subject, is eager to engage in research and believes that every student should begiven the best chance to succeed. We are looking for a teacher who will bring their own dynamism and positive attitude and become a trusted and valued team member.
The successful candidate will be, or aspire to be, an excellent classroom practitioner. We are looking for a teacher who is excited by teaching Music in KS3, Drama in KS4 and looking for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students, both in the classroomand as part of the school community. We are also keen to expand Drama into KS5.

What the school offers its staff
Being part of Leigh Academies Trust:As of 1st April 2024, our Trust comprises 32 geographically organised academies (16 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 20,000 students and employing 3,000 talented staff.
