Are you a passionate and dedicated Music teacher looking for your next exciting challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Music (0.6 FTE working days Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this academic year) to join our committed and enthusiastic team at Astley Community High School. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Music teacher who Is enthusiastic about their subject and committed to high standards and wants to make a real difference in a close-knit school community to join our school on a journey of growth and development
This is a fantastic time to join us, as we are set to move into our brand new, purpose-built school building in September 2025, offering outstanding facilities for both staff and students, including recording studios, performing arts
You will be joining a strong and collaborative Faculty, made up of five skilled staff delivering a wide range of Pre-16 and Post-16 courses in art, design, food technology, and music. We pride ourselves on working as a team, sharing best practice and taking ownership of our subject areas to continually improve teaching and learning.
As a faculty, we are forward-thinking and open to new ideas. We strive to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment using a wide range of resources and teaching strategies to inspire all students and drive progress and achievement.
