What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our Music department. Music is a compulsory subject at key stage 3 (years 7 to 9). At key stage 4, we teach the GCSE Edexcel/Pearson specification. Currently, 75 students are studying GCSE music in years 10 and 11.
Music is taught in dedicated music rooms and our facilities are excellent. We are quite fortunate to employ a team of highly qualified and talented musicians who work collaboratively to enable our students to make outstanding progress at all key stages.
The Music department makes a huge contribution to the wider life of the school and along with the other expressive arts subjects put together regular productions.
