What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting opportunity for a Music Teacher at The Whitstable School to join our thriving Performing Arts department that is the heart and soul of the school community. Music is based within our creative building and you will work closely with a strong team of staff directing productions and developing the department to establish a successful Key Stage 5. There is also opportunity for leadership dependent on experience.
We will welcome applications from teachers who:
- Are passionate about music and able to inspire students.
- Are an accomplished musician with the ability to lead a diverse range of music ensembles.
- Have proven experience of teaching music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be advantageous).
- Can demonstrate a positive and creative approach in the classroom.
- Have the skills and passion to inspire and engage pupils in both curricular and extracurricular lessons.
