TEACHER OF MUSIC
For September 2020, we are seeking a full time, qualified teacher of Music at this 11-18 grammar school for boys with a coeducational Sixth Form. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Music across the school. Music, both curricular and extra-curricular, plays a very important part in the life of the school and the uccessful applicant will have the opportunity in contributing to this further.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or for someone looking to broaden their experience in an innovative and high achieving school. The opportunity for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility for Assistant Team Leader for Music will be available to the right candidate.
Dr Challoner’s has 1355 students, of which 433 are in the co-educational Sixth Form. The school was inspected in November
2019 and is only the third mainstream secondary school in the country to be judged Outstanding in a full section 5 inspection under the new Education Inspection Framework. It is regarded as one of the leading grammar schools in the country. As a National
