We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate teacher to help drive the teaching of Music from Key Stages 3 to 5, striving to deliver excellent results in our already successful department. Students follow the Educas GCSE syllabus, with post-16 courses available via the shared Sixth Form at Hampton College.

This role is ideal for either an experienced teacher seeking a new opportunity or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive and dedicated department. We have a hardworking and committed team of specialist teachers with a strong commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students. Our ECTs follow the DfE Early Career Framework, with each teacher having a subject mentor and an Induction Tutor.

We are looking for someone who can inspire our students and promote a love for the subject both in and out of the classroom. Hampton Gardens offers a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including lunch clubs, private lessons and school performances in conjunction with the Drama and Dance teams. Students are able to access woodwind, strings and brass lessons after school with external peripatetic teachers.

Hampton Gardens is an 11-19 free school which opened in September 2017 to an initial intake of 180 Year 7 students. When full, the school will accommodate 1200 students in years 7-11 and 300 students in Sixth Form.

Hampton Gardens is part of the Hampton Academies Trust who also run the highly successful and popular Hampton College all-through school, Hampton Lakes Primary School and Dogsthorpe Infant School. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.
