Teacher of Music job summary

Our aim at Heyford Park School is to provide the best possible education for all our students

At Heyford Park School, our mission is to provide the best possible education for all students in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We are proud to be a warm, welcoming all-through school with a strong sense of community. Our staff body is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely enjoy working together.

Heyford Park School is over-subscribed and growing to 3 form-entry in the secondary phase, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Music to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing department within a small but thriving school. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers, who will benefit from our excellent ECT programme in partnership with Bartholomew School, and experienced teachers seeking new challenges. We offer strong professional development and clear opportunities for career progression.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school recently rated Good by Ofsted, and to join us at a dynamic point in our journey. As part of the Eynsham Partnership Academy Trust (EPA), our secondary phase is closely supported by Bartholomew School, an Outstanding school as of 2024.

Music is a thriving subject at Heyford Park, with strong results and high student engagement across all Key Stages. We run a popular GCSE Music option, and there are opportunities to work across each phase of the school, from Early Years through to KS4.

Located in the village of Upper Heyford, Heyford Park is easily accessible from Bicester, Banbury, and Oxford, serving the surrounding rural communities.
