What skills and experience we're looking for

If you are an inspiring, enthusiastic Teacher of Music, who recognises that the best practitioners always want to improve, we would like to talk to you. The ability to teach Music at Key Stage 4 is essential, as well as a willingness to be involved in the extensive extra-curricular programme the Arts offers, such as the popular annual school production, music clubs and workshops.

What the school offers its staff

Our Arts Faculty has a wealth of experience ranging across the three Arts disciplines; Music, Drama and Art. The faculty has a strong team consisting of experienced teachers, a Head of Performing Arts, technician support and a Head of Faculty.

We have professional Music facilities including a music studio, instrument practice rooms and state of the art hardware and software that we have recently invested heavily in. The successful candidate must be able to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Music at a high standard. We currently run OCR GCSE Music. We will gladly accept applications from NQTs, ECTs, recently qualified and experienced teachers. The ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and to consistently teach inspirational lessons within this highly committed faculty is essential.
