We are:
A lively and purposeful co-educational, comprehensive state boarding school for children aged 7 to 18 years, with approximately 670 flexi-borders and 430 full boarders. The school is a popular choice for local families who attend on our flexi boarding package, as well as for full boarders from further afield in the UK and internationally. This is due to a wide range of factors including our facilities, academic pathways and results, pastoral care, the boarding and flexi-boarding ethos and environment, wide range of trips and co-curricular activities and the resultant attitudes of its pupils.

As a 7-18 State Boarding School, we seek an exceptional candidate for the position of Teacher of Music.
We are looking for a highly effective and innovative Teacher and leader of Music across levels Key Stages 3, 4, 5. This Subject Leader will work with the Director of the Sport and Performing Arts Faculty to ensure all pupils make excellent progress, and are inspired to have a passion for Music.
The successful candidate will:
● Be passionate about the teaching of Music and be an excellent practitioner
● Have an excellent knowledge of Music Specifications and their implementation
● Be enthusiastic about his/her own professional development
