What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher of Music to join us in September 2025. The successful candidate will be able to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity for full-time or part-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
- Foster a love of music through practical, theoretical, and performance-based learning
- Lead and develop extracurricular music activities such as choirs, bands, and school performances
- Utilise technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance students' musical experiences
- Encourage students of all abilities to explore and develop their musical talents
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent) with a passion for music education
- Strong subject knowledge in music theory, composition, and performance
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student wellbeing
- Experience in running extracurricular music activities (desirable but not essential)
