We wish to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Physical Educationwith Leadership Opportunities, to join our successful, split-site academy as part of a supportive team.
Salary £33,959— £51,984(M1 - AL3 Academy Qualified Teachers Scale)
Position Available: January 2026
Our academy operates across two sites.The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our Key Stage 3 students, whilst The Upper Academy specialises in teaching Key Stage 4 and 5.
This appointed candidate will begin their BA career at the academy that best suits their skill set and theneeds of the students.We are able to offer further opportunities within leadership for Year Leader.
The post is open to teachers of all levels of experience.

What the school offers its staff
The Academies provide staff with the most appropriate and effective personalised support to ensure that their professional development needs are fully met and that there is a high level of challenge in the opportunities they are offered. All staff take ownership of their own learning journey and are given opportunities to reflect on their own practice, as well as supporting others through being members of Teacher Learning Communities. There is an open-door culture that encourages teachers to 'drop in' on colleagues, therefore promoting good practice within the schools. We are committed toSSAT Embedding Formative Assessment CPD programme for the next two years, as well as encouraging staff to further their expertise and leadership through both internal and external programmes, including the full suite of NPQ courses. We have a very strong record of developing staff from ITT to Headship. We have an excellent track record of providing promotion and responsibility opportunities to staff that aspire to leadership.
