What skills and experience we're looking for

York High School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our Performance Faculty.

We have a proven track record for the delivery of outstanding Music and Drama. The faculty boasts excellent facilities and a broad and balanced curriculum, with numerous additional opportunities and events for students to excel both inside and outside of the classroom.

The successful candidate must have the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and inspire, motivate and challenge young people. We are seeking to appoint a subject specialist for drama, with the ability to teach music and other subjects as demanded by the timetable. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to contributing to the personal development of all the young people we teach.
