Our aim at Heyford Park School is to provide the best possible education for all our students

At Heyford Park School, our mission is to provide the best possible education for all students in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We are proud to be a warm, welcoming all-through school with a strong sense of community. Our staff body is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely enjoy working together.

Heyford Park School is oversubscribed and growing to 3 form-entry in the secondary phase, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join our expanding team. Due to our growth, we are seeking a dynamic educator to teach both Music and Drama, reflecting the need for flexibility in our small but thriving school. This is a flexible role, and we welcome applications from teachers with a Music or Drama teaching background and will consider applications from individuals looking for part-time or full-time work. We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their careers. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher looking to start your journey with the support of our excellent ECT programme in partnership with Bartholomew School, or an experienced teacher seeking new challenges, we offer excellent professional development and career growth opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school recently rated Good by Ofsted, and to join us at a dynamic point in our journey. As part of the Eynsham Partnership Academy Trust (EPA), our secondary phase is closely supported by Bartholomew School, an Outstanding school as of 2024.

Music and Drama are thriving subjects at Heyford Park, with strong results and high student engagement across all Key Stages. We run popular GCSE Music and BTEC Performing Arts options, and there are opportunities to work across each phase of the school, from Early Years through to KS4.

Located in the village of Upper Heyford, Heyford Park is easily accessible from Bicester, Banbury, and Oxford, serving the surrounding rural communities.

For more information or to discuss the role, please contact Andrew Binnington, Head of School, at 01869 232203 or email axbinnington@heyford.epatrust.org
