What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Teacher of PE.
The Physical Education team are an energetic, dedicated group of committed professionals currently consisting of four full-time members of staff. The PE department is resourced with extensive grounds that provide outstanding facilities for sporting pursuits. In total, there are six football pitches and one rugby pitch. In the summer term, we have a cricket pitch, rounders and softball pitches, as well as a 400m athletics track. The all-weather astro pitch hosts two six a-side football pitches and four tennis courts. Our indoor facilities include; a gymnasium and a sports hall consisting of four badminton courts, with indoor cricket nets. Additionally, our newly built state of the art St George Pavilion extension includes four changing facilities and a PE classroom.

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing six Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.
The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families.
