Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher?

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and imaginative person to teach PE and possibly a 2nd subject in our highly successful school. PE is a very popular subject in the school with a strong focus on promoting active, healthy lifestyles for the full range of abilities. The delivery of life skills through physical education and ensuring all students have a positive experience in the subject area is central to our Faculty ethos. The successful candidate will be well-qualified to teach PE at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and make a positive contribution to the schools extensive extra-curricular sport programme. The ability to offer a second subject and an interest in delivering GCSE PE or vocational sport courses at KS4 and KS5 would be preferable. Applications from candidates with an interest in football, rugby or basketball would be particularly welcomed.

What we are looking for:

Someone with a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire students through their passion and knowledge for PE

Applications are welcome from ECT’s, from more experienced colleagues who are looking for a change or someone considering returning to teaching where you will be fully supported back into the classroom

Someone who is happy to teach PE to the full range of abilities and possibly a 2nd subject
