What skills and experience we're looking for
A full time teacher of Girls P.E is required to cover maternity leave. There is also the possibility of having the post as part time, which can be negotiated at interview. The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of Physical Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. In particular, Netball, Hockey, girls Football and Dance. There will also be a need to act as a form tutor each day.
You will be required to be versatile and confident, joining a strong, forward-looking team within a highly reputed department. There may be opportunities to teach examination PE at Key Stage 4 and sixth form, BTEC Dance Level 2 and BTEC performing Arts Level 3.
There is also a strong element of after school enrichment through school clubs and fixtures which the successful candidate will be required to be part of.
