Teacher of Physical Education (PE) job summary
The successful candidate will be joining a highly ambitious and talented faculty. Please specify clearly in your application your teaching experiences and accredited KS4/5 courses you have the ability to teach. Applications are welcome from both experienced and recently qualified teachers. This is a temporary post for 2 terms from January 2026 with the potential to become permanent.
Students have two lessons a week of Physical Education in Year 7 and 8 and 1 lesson per week for Year 9 - 11. Students who select a PE option at KS4, have 5 additional lessons for students studying GCSE or CNAT Sport. We have extensive facilities, including a large sports hall and playing fields. The team also offer A level PE and BTEC Sport in our Sixth Form. A willingness to contribute and develop extra-curricular activities is essential.
