Teacher of Physics (£5k Golden Hello) job summary

The Howard School is seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our Science Department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Teacher of A-Level Physics, who is able to start from 28th August 2025.

With a brand-new £5m Science and Technology Block, well-equipped classrooms, a strong STEM programme, and a well-funded curriculum, we provide an excellent teaching environment. Staff benefit from a centralised behaviour system, dedicated CPD time every Friday, a sensible workload approach prioritising live feedback, and strong leadership support. This is a full-time, permanent role, paid based on the STPC Main/Upper Teachers Pay Range, dependant on experience.

The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000, which split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service.
