What skills and experience we're looking for
Judged as “outstanding” by Ofsted, the warm and welcoming community of Sir John Deane’s College is looking to appoint a full time Teacher of Physics.
The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with a strong academic background in Physics and excellent subject knowledge. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching, a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of achievement for all students and have an impressive track record of results. The College particularly values the experience and knowledge teachers can bring from a secondary school environment.
A-level experience is not essential and the College values the experience and knowledge teachers can bring from a secondary school environment. We also welcome applications from early career teachers to whom a full ECT programme is offered, in the same way as schools: this means you will be fully qualified to advance your future career.
