What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a teacher of A level Politics. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range. An ability to also teach A level History would be desirable, although not essential.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results, though we also welcome applications from early career teachers. Able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for your subject area and the ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities, you should have a commitment to raising achievement, raising aspirations and going the extra mile.
New College Doncaster, an academic sixth form college, offers a distinctive young adult ethos and is a great place to work and study. With 1500 students, New College Doncaster has grown rapidly since opening in 2017 and students make exceptional progress in both A level and Level 3 Applied General courses.
