Teacher of Psychology and/or Biology job summary

The Cooper School is seeking a Teacher of Psychology and/or Biology to join our team. This is a temporary position to cover staff absence, and is expected to run until 31 August 2026.

About the Role

As a Teacher at The Cooper School, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.

  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports students in reaching their potential.

  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and student engagement.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community.

About You

You should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Psychology and/or Biology or a related field.

  • Experience teaching secondary school students (KS3 & KS4, and ideally KS5).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for education and innovative teaching methods.
