What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Psychology to teach the subject at GCSE and A level. Psychology is a popular course at the College. If you aim to inspire and enthuse students through your teaching and are dedicated to bringing positive outcomes for all young people then this could be the perfect role for you.

We are looking for the best teacher, regardless of experience. The post is suitable for ECTs but we are equally keen to receive applications from more experienced teachers and from those seeking a full or part time position.

You will:

  • share the College’s very high expectations;
  • be, or have the potential to be, an excellent classroom practitioner, who is able to teach psychology at Key Stages 4 and 5;
  • be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents;
  • use your excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical understanding to support the ongoing develop of a high-quality psychology curriculum and ensure its successful delivery;
  • be enthusiastic about giving young people the best possible start in life.
