We have swapped to AQA Psychology in KS5 from September 2019, so Yr12 will have started this syllabus.

Qualified Teacher Status

Essential skills and experience

 Experience of assessment of student performance at Key Stages 3,4 and 5 in terms of National Curriculum Levels
 Experience of working as part of a team

 Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements and assessment in Psychology
 Knowledge of current trends in the teaching of Psychology

 Excellent classroom teacher with a lively, interactive approach
 Effective classroom manager
 Excellent inter-personal skills
 Excellent organisational skills
 Excellent IT skills
 Ability to teach Psychology across the 11-18 age range to students of all abilities
 A commitment to the place of Psychology in the comprehensive school curriculum
