Teacher of Psychology job summary

1 year Fixed Term Contract

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative teacher, on a full-time basis, from the start of the Academic Year 2025/2026 to work in the Psychology department teaching A-level Psychology. An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.

As well as our academic success we are also proud of the welcoming and collaborative environment at the College and a few comments from our Autumn 2024 staff survey show that our staff feel the same.

‘The sense of community, common purpose, and kindness to each other. The willingness to help each other, support each other and look after each other. We are proud to be continually improving - which is a signature of Godalming College.’

‘Working every day supporting amazing young people, having kind and compassionate colleagues and making progress and learning for my own professional development.’

Commitment to safeguarding

Godalming College is committed to equality of opportunity and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Candidates must complete a College application form, may be subject to online searches and are required to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record/information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. It's a requirement for all successful candidates to apply for an enhanced DBS in addition to referencing & qualification checks.
