This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding, passionate, and committed teacher of psychology to join our ambitious and high-achieving psychology department. Psychology is one of our most successful and popular subjects at key stage five. Colleagues benefit from close working with other subject areas within social science, as well as collaboration for professional development across the wider Trust. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher with excellent subject knowledge. You will provide consistently high-quality teaching and enable the effective use of resources to facilitate high standards of learning and achievement for all students.

  • Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions.

The ideal candidate

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
  • Understands and is committed to teaching standards.
  • Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.
  • Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Has a positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach towards work.
  • Has a willingness to undergo further training and development.
