Teacher of Psychology job summary
Sir John Deane’s is the country’s leading sixth form college, and we are looking to appoint a Teacher of Psychology for a fixed term maternity cover to start in April 2025.

The Department
The department offers both A level Psychology (OCR) and A level Media studies (Eduqas). With a strong identity and a culture of continuous improvement, colleagues are committed to drive student success. The department comprises of 7 teachers and a media technician who are enthusiastic, motivated, and supportive.

The Post
The sixth form seeks to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to contribute to the work of this thriving department.
We welcome applications from both early career teachers and teachers with experience. A Level experience is not an essential requirement; we are seeking to appoint an individual with a strong academic background in Law or related subject who loves to teach and who has a passion for all aspects of the subject. A full ECT programme is offered at the College in the same way as schools, this means you will be fully qualified to advance your future career.
